Broken Back Seax

This simple handled seax was forged by my brother in craft Luke Shearer and heat treated and finished by me. The blade is deeply etched and made of four bars of pattern welded material. The handle is a single piece of maple drilled and burned in to fit the tang. This gives a looser looking fit around the blade but is a historical method.
